Estonia @ Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

Rainer Sarnet’s “November”, Andres and Katrin Maimik’s “The Man Who Looks Like Me” and Priit Pääsuke’s debut film “The End of the Chain” have been selected to participate at the prestigious Karlovy Vary Film Festival. The festival takes place for the 52 time in the Czech Republic from June 30rd to July 8th.

Green Light for Micro-budget Feature Films “It” and “Green Cats”

The Estonian Film Institute (EFI) and the Cultural Endowment of Estonia chose to green light two of five micro-budget film– the fantasy film “It” and the tragicomedy “Green Cats”.

 
 
 

“Amalimbo” awarded at Animafest Zagreb.

Swedish-Estonian animated short “Amalimbo”, directed by Swedish Juan Pablo Libossart and drawn and animated by Estonian Roland Seer, garnered the Zlatko Grigič Award for best first film outside of educational institute from 27. World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb.
